"Frankly Fabulous" is the first segment of the nineteenth episode of the Disney Channel animated series Hailey's On It!
Synopsis[]
Hailey enters Frank the Flamingo into a bird show and they run into his former mean trainer.
Plot[]
Hailey is trying to make $100 by busking on the pier, but she and Scott lack the ability to play instruments properly, with Scott's mother Sunny also telling them to stop. As they prepare to leave, Frank the Flamingo activates Hailey's music player to "Squawk Squawk" by Lady Goo Goo, causing him to dance to the song. With the money earned, Scott wants to buy something for his mom for her birthday that weekend while Hailey decides to get a sequin vest that Frank wants. This causes Beta to announce that the next item on the list is to win a contest at the Oceanside Bird Talent Show, with Frank now offering the opportunity to win it.
At the bird show, Scott starts his search to get an item for Sunny while face chatting with Becker over what to get. Unfortunately, all the items he suggests, Sunny already has. Hailey shows Frank around the bird show until they run into a Peacock named Petey. It turns out, that Frank is acquainted with the bird as well as his owner Chuck Power, who used to own both birds. Chuck considers Frank a failure due to his flatulence and inability to be serious and sent him away to live at the animal shelter, despite both birds' being friends. Feeling that she must defend her bird, Hailey decides to double down on preparing Frank for the talent competition.
Beta tries to enter the bird show as a penguin to show his feats of strength, but fails. Scott also notices that Hailey made Frank up in such a way that he looks different. Realizing that she is turning into Chuck, Hailey lets Frank be himself by doing the dance routine with Hailey, Scott and Petey joining in. The judge is impressed enough that she gives Frank and Petey a couple medal, thus fulfilling Hailey's list item. Chuck humiliates himself and Scott decides to adopt Petey so that he can be close to Frank. He gives her to Sunny as her birthday gift which she happily accepts. As Frank and Petey maintain their "friendship", Hailey realizes that they are "more than friends".
