Frederick Crocus is the main antagonist of the 2020 Disney+ original film Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made.

Personality[]
Frederick serves as Timmy's school teacher in Carverette Elementary School. He is shown to be strict to his students who attend his class, especially when it comes to them taking a field trip. Whenever a student gets in trouble, their parents would engage in a conversation with him of their behavior in school, such as the case of Timmy Failure who did a bad job at quiz and any further incidents in his class would result in the student being suspended at school if their behavior does not improve.
Role in the film[]
Timmy approaches Mr. Crocus who tells him to pick up Hammy Ham, the hamster, telling him to do a good deed just before starting a quiz in class. He later approaches an unprepared Rollo who surprises him giving him a quiz assignment. He later tells his class that all final quizzes will be graded as well as approaching Timmy if he has something to say to him, only for Crocus to tell him to sit down. Timmy refuses to listen to his orders, telling him to get out of class. He later engages in a private conversation with Patty, who is worried that Timmy's behavior at school is not improving nor do his grades, which she tells him to apologize to him for disrupting the class; Timmy refuses, much to her mother feeling upset about this.
Mr. Crocus later appears observing the class where they are taking a quiz and as he hears Timmy talking to Rollo, Crocus tells them to be quiet during the quiz. He later approaches Timmy who is on a field trip to the Bonneville Dam, telling him that if his behavior does not improve, he will be suspended from class. During a tour of the dam, Mr. Crocus is present with the rest of the students who tells them to be quiet or he will send them back home, except for Timmy, telling him that he will stay with him until he retires from class. Just as Timmy falsely believes that Corrina is shutting down the power across Portland (unaware that Corrina is still with the group), Mr. Crocus later chases him across the dam, warning him that he will be expelled the more he causes trouble.
Crocus later finds Timmy outside the dam as he plans to bring him back to the group, just as the operators inside the dam plan to open the flood gates. As the gates open, Mr. Crocus started becoming fearful of Timmy who brought him into this situation. Crocus suddenly lies down unconsciously as Timmy tells him that it's over, but gets no response from his teacher. The next day, Mrs. Novachek becomes a substitute teacher for Mr. Crocus at Carverette Elementary, which Molly and Rollo think that they like Mr. Crocus better.
Crocus later appears in a fantasy sequence showing Timmy and Total driving Crispin's truck into his house, causing him to react in shock of what Timmy did to his house (echoing the scene that was shown at the beginning of the film), which Timmy decides to act like a professional instead to avoid causing the situation he would do in his thoughts.
Later after everyone liked Timmy's speech during an Animal Awareness rally which he used to give an impact to the world, he believes that Mr. Crocus was kidnapped by Corrina, leading Timmy and Total to "rescue" him.

- Crocus is Wallace Shawn's first live-action role in a live-action Disney film since Ezra in the 2003 adaptation of The Haunted Mansion.
