The Frederickson Candy Co. is an abandoned candy factory in Big Hero 6: The Series. The factory was previously owned by Fred's great-grandfather, Fredediah Frederickson many years ago. It now serves as the secret headquarters of Big Hero 6.
Background[]
In "The Globby Within", when Globby became a wanted fugitive due to Nega-Globby's influence, Big Hero 6 need a location to keep hidden and unchecked until they can extract Nega-Globby. Fred knew a location, an abandoned candy factory that belonged to his family and was founded by his great-grandfather, Fredediah Fredrickson. After the team was branded as wanted fugitives by Chief Cruz, they decided to make the factory their official secret headquarters.
In "Hardlight", Fred later hired Roddy to help renovate the factory who had also designed Boss Awesome's secret lair. Roddy had finished the first room for their headquarters, the conference room. Roddy also installed an artificial intelligence dubbed, Basemax.
In "Portal Enemy", a desperate Hiro brings Megan Cruz to the factory to show her how Big Hero 6 works in the hopes she won't expose their secret identities to her father; Roddy criticized Hiro for his rookie mistake of bringing a reporter to his secret base, stating that Boss Awesome would never have done that.
In "Major Blast", as a new villain named Major Blast starts targeting Fred, Hiro shows the team their new training room, Sim-Max, which holographically recreated locations around San Fransokyo and robots that replicate the team's rogues gallery. Under Go Go's tutelage, Fred attempts to improve his tendency to get distracted only to fail every time. Eventually, Major Blast infiltrates the factory and traps Fred in the simulator. Fred manages to prevail by distracting Major Blast. Major Blast is soon revealed to be his mother, who was merely helping him improve his faults as she did with his father in the past.
