- “"All right. Here you go. Your new expanded console is up and running."”
- ―Fritz to the emotions.
Fritz is a minor character in the 2015 Disney•Pixar animated feature film Inside Out, its 2024 sequel, and the franchise of the same name. He is a blue-green Mind Worker with a mustache and no hair who installs an upgraded console, which includes a large button labelled "PUBERTY", in Headquarters when Riley turns 12.
Appearances[]
Inside Out[]
Fritz only appears at the end of the film, where he explains to the Emotions that he and the other Mind Workers have built a new console in Headquarters after Riley adapts for having a new life in San Francisco. After talking, he explains to them that the emotions are ready to use the new console as he and the other Mind Workers leave.
Inside Out 2[]
In the sequel, Joy, Fear, Disgust, and Anger saw some Mind Workers on the other side of the Sar-Chasm. And when they tried to ask them for help, the Mind Workers only heard the sarcastic version of what the Emotions were saying. Because of this, Fritz, who was one of the Mind Workers, said, "Wow. Those guys are jerks." And with that, he and the other Mind Worker drove away, and they were never seen again for the rest of the film.
