Frozen III is an upcoming American computer-animated adventure-comedy/drama fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It serves as a sequel to Frozen II and the third installment of the Frozen franchise. It will be the 66th animated feature in the Disney Animated Canon and is scheduled for release on November 24, 2027.

On February 8, 2023, during the Q1 earnings call, Bob Iger confirmed that a third Frozen film is in development.[4]
On February 7, 2024, during the Q1 earnings call, Bob Iger confirmed that the film would be released on November 25, 2026.[5] By August 9, it was delayed to November 24, 2027.[6]
Trivia
- Not counting the sequels produced by Disneytoon Studios, this will mark the first trilogy in the Disney Animated Canon, as well as the third animated one from Disney overall to be theatrical instead of being direct-to-video, the others being Toy Story and Cars from Pixar.
