"Fuli's New Family " is the seventh episode of the Disney Jr. animated series, The Lion Guard . It premiered on February 19 , 2016 .
Plot [ ]
The Lion Guard is directing a herd of Cape Buffalos away from a mudslide. During which, Bunga is sent flying. He lands on Ushari who bites him out of reflex. Everyone takes him to Rafiki who tells them that honey badgers are immune to snake bites. Timon and Pumbaa decide to celebrate by inviting the Guard for lunch, who all decline except Fuli , who has no family. This discovery makes the rest of the Guard decide to spend more time with Fuli.
Ono takes Fuli on a bug hunt, Beshte takes her for a swim at the watering hole, and Kion takes her hunting with his family. But all their attempts only succeed in annoying the cheetah to no end. Finally, she tells them she likes being on her own.
Meanwhile, Bunga has let Rafiki's declaration make him think that he's invincible. He then foolishly heads into the Outlands. There, he is attacked by Janja and his Hyena Clan. He is rescued by the Guard.

It is revealed that Fuli lives and hunts all on her own, despite being a cub.
Bunga's immunity to Ushari's bite is a reference to how real honey badgers are immune to poison. When a honey badger is bitten, the poison only causes paralysis that lasts for 2 hours.
Fuli preferring to hunt alone is a reference to how real female cheetahs hunt alone after leaving their family.
