"Funny's Road Trip!" is the second segment of the twenty-third episode of Mickey Mouse Funhouse. It premiered on September 26, 2022 alongside "The Magic Mansion".
Plot[]
Funny wants an adventure at Zany Mulaney Land, the new amusement park.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins with the gang doing relaxing activities just outside Funny: Mickey reading a comic book, Daisy and Minnie playing checkers, and Donald and Goofy napping in a hammock next to Pluto and Teddy. A fidgety Funny tells the gang about Zany Mulaney Land, a new amusement park opening on the other side of Hot Dog Hills. However, Funny remembers that he can create doors that lead to other worlds, not to places already in Hot Dog Hills. Mickey suggests a road trip, and Funny transforms into a trailer.
The scene cuts to Funny going along the road with the gang relaxing. Suddenly, it begins raining really heavily. Mickey tells Funny that it is not safe to drive when you cannot see the road really well, so Funny pulls over. The gang gets out and plays in the rain for a while before Windy takes a selfie after the rain stops. The trip continues, but a wobbly sign causes Funny to take a wrong turn. The road is now too narrow for Funny to turn, so Funny climbs a mountain to turn properly. Before Funny continues, however, Minnie stops him so they can take a picture of the scenery. Funny then continues, but eventually goes over a bumpy road and blows one of his tires. Funny realizes that he doesn't have a spare tire and is worried that the trip might be ruined, but Goofy spots a large donut that they can use to replace the tire. The gang then takes another picture.
The gang finally arrives at Zany Mulaney Land, but it closes as soon as they arrive. Funny is disappointed that they came all this way for nothing, but Mickey reminds Funny that the fun of a road trip is the adventures they have along the way. Goofy then points out that since they are alone, they can camp there overnight and be the first ones in the park when it reopens in the morning. Come next day, the gang returns to Funhouse Forest after having enjoyed an exciting trip to Zany Mulaney Land. The episode ends with Funny producing a souvenir to remember their trip and Mickey and Minnie waving goodbye to the viewers.
