Plot[]
Milo and Bea are watching a cat outside the tanks get into a large amount of trouble, including falling in a bucket and getting covered in snakes. While they find it hilarious, Oscar doesn't get why they find it funny, and attempts to flush himself down his own toilet just because of that. Milo and Bea decide to ask him about it, and he reveals that he feels this way over most of what they find funny. After Bea leaves, Milo tells Oscar he should just pretend to find things funny, and laugh at everything. After a few attempts at pretend laughing, Oscar agrees to go with it. At Freshwater High, Oscar begins to put Milo's plan into motion. He starts by laughing at a joke Milo makes to Bea. Bea becomes impressed by Oscar for finally finding things funny, which makes Oscar feel rather good. Throughout the rest of the day, Oscar proceeds to laugh at everything, causing everyone else to laugh alongside him, even in venues where they really shouldn't even be making noise, such as the school library. Eventually, however, Oscar runs into Jocktopus, who has gotten tired of him laughing all the time, and decides he's going to beat him up. However, during the encounter, Oscar begins to pretend laugh at Jocktopus, making the bully feel uneasy. Eventually, the rest of the students join in, and Jocktopus runs away embarrassed. The episode then ends with Oscar, Milo, and Bea realizing that Oscar doesn't have to understand what the others find funny, as long as they all enjoy it. With that said, they go back to watching the cat do dumb things, with Oscar stating that he still doesn't get it.
