Gabo is a supporting character who appears in Disney's 2023 animated feature film Wish. He is the cynical member of the "Seven Teens", but he has a heart of gold.[2][3]
Gabo is a cynical boy with a realistic view on life, despite growing up in a magical kingdom where wishes come true. Unlike his friend Hal, who is always happy and optimistic, Gabo is always pessimistic and negative when dealing with situations and outcomes in life, but doesn't do it out of spite as he only wants himself and his friends to be realistic with life.
Gabo is shown to be somewhat of hypocrite where he admired magic, but upon meeting Star, he was fearful of the sentient celestial creature. He is a follower of rules as he obeyed King Magnifico's law of anyone else not doing magic while chastising Asha for unintentionally summoning Star. However, upon slowly discovering Magnifico's true nature and vile actions, Gabo's opinions on the kingdom's laws and the king himself changed where he grew concerned Star, stating it needed to leave when hearing Magnifico wished to capture it, showing Gabo has come to care about Star and its well-being.
Gabo also has moral reservations when it comes to selling out others, especially when it comes to his clique. As such, when Simon sold out Asha, Gabo was completely shocked.
Physical appearance[]
Gabo is a 13-year-old boy who is short in stature with brown hair, brown eyes, and olive skin. He wears a white shirt with folded sleeves, a dark pink vest with orange details and four golden buttons, dark brown pants, a brown belt with a gold buckle, and black shoes.
