Trivia[]
- The Disney+ release is preceded by a warning message about stereotypes and outdated culture depictions stated by The Walt Disney Company.
- Chip and Dale accidentally kiss each other when trying to kiss Gadget at the very end. This is an obvious reference to the 1952 cartoon short Two Chips and a Miss, where the same gag occurs.
- The title is a reference to the 1961 comedy film Gidget Goes Hawaiian. Lahwhinie's voice actress, Deborah Walley, made her Hollywood film debut as the title role.
