"Galactech: March of the Robo-Penguins" is the second segment of the thirty-fourth episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on July 18, 2016 alongside "Galloping Groundshakers", and is the second segment of the fourth episode in the second season.

Plot[]

In Mirandos' home in Tempestoro, Miles, Loretta, M.E.R.C., and Mirandos are practicing their dance moves and are about to do another round when Prosperos tells them to go to sleep. He then activates the shields because there is an ice storm approaching, and the shield will give them a layer of protection. Miles then calls Phoebe and Leo, and tells them how great his, Loretta, and M.E.R.C.'s sleepover with Mirandos is going. Tomorrow, they plan to go snowboarding and build snow forts. Leo and Phoebe will join them as soon as they pick up some supplies from the Tethoscape, including Comet Cocoa. Everyone then sleeps in the home while the ice storm approaches.

The next morning, Miles wakes up and sees a Robo-Penguin. Miles wonders if Mirandos invited anyone else to the sleepover, like Robo-Penguins, and Mirandos instantly recognizes what's going on. She doesn't like what she's seeing. When the Robo-Penguins see M.E.R.C., they run away. Prosperos mentions that the ice storm last night has turned into a blizzard. It took out the shields and left the door open. This is what caused the Robo-Penguins to head inside. Mirandos finds out that they live on the polar ice cap at the top of Tempestoro. There, they collect weather data for the Tomorrowland Transit Authority, but during big storms, they're programmed to go into their charging station. The blizzard must have carried them all the way to Mirandos' home. Mirandos knows a lot about Robo-Penguins because she visited their station lots of times. She even made friends with one and gave him a name. She then calls Bowtie and checks her battery meter, and he needs a charge. Mirandos says that if the Robo-Penguins lose all of their power, they'll lose all of their data. This means that they'll forget everything they've learned about this planet for the TTA. Miles says that their mission is to make sure that doesn't happen.

Once everyone is outside, Prosperos has two problems. The first is that there is no vehicle large enough to carry the Robo-Penguins all the way to the charging station, and the second is that an even bigger blizzard is on its way. Miles decides for him, Loretta, M.E.R.C., and Mirandos to walk the Robo-Penguins to the charging station. Prosperos will repair his home while that happens.

After Miles, Mirandos, M.E.R.C., and Loretta leave, Prosperos tells them that if the storm gets too close, they should call him, and he'll come get them. Thanks to M.E.R.C., the Robo-Penguins are fleeing away, and Miles brings one who strays away with the group. Loretta says that they're making great time, and Mirandos says that they may need the extra time once they're through the trees.

Mirandos then sees that the area she, Loretta, M.E.R.C., Miles, and the Robo-Penguins are is called Three Days Lake because it takes three days to walk around it. She was hoping the lake was frozen over so they could go straight across. Miles realizes that they can still do so, and he and Loretta can make an ice raft with their heat rays. Everyone hops on the raft, and M.E.R.C. activates his Aqua Mode to push the raft across the lake.

After a short while, they encounter a glacier which they are unable to get over. Miles decides to go straight into its cave. M.E.R.C. scares the penguins away so they can go through the cave quicker. Once on the other side, Miles is impressed by the view, and thinks that he, Loretta, and M.E.R.C. need to come back here to explore the planet. Loretta, on the other hand, finds out that the Robo-Penguins have used a lot of battery power. Mirandos finds out that the charging station is just after the ice glaciers, but they need to hurry as the storm is catching up to them.

Miles, Mirandos, Loretta, M.E.R.C., and the Robo-Penguins continue their march. One time, Robo-Penguins jump over a crack. One doesn't make it, but M.E.R.C. saves him. The Robo-Penguins are depleting their power quickly, but Miles tells them that they will make it. Eventually, they see the charging station which is across a bridge. M.E.R.C. checks it out, and halts the Robo-Penguins. He then takes a step at the bridge, which falls apart. With no other choice remaining, Miles decides that the place where the bridge collapsed looks like a Blastboard course. Miles decides for the Robo-Penguins to slide down like on a Blastboard, as they can go down fast enough to make it up the other side. M.E.R.C. and Bowtie demonstrate that it can be done. With the Robo-Penguins about out of power, they all slide down and get to the other side.

Mirandos opens the charging station doors, and realizes that the snow is there because of the storm last night. Miles and Loretta decide to use their heat rays, but their upgraded ones, and activate their spacesuits' Galactech Mode. While they are firing the heat rays, Mirandos will work on the doors. Eventually, both tasks are completed, and all but one of the Robo-Penguins make it inside the charging station. The other one gets blown away by the storm, and M.E.R.C. catches him and takes him into the station just as its doors close. The charging station then restores the Robo-Penguins' power, making the mission a success. Mirandos will inform Prosperos of such.

Once Phoebe and Leo arrive, Miles tells them that they missed one awesome cross-country Robo-Penguin hike. Phoebe and Leo congratulate Miles, Loretta, and Mirandos for getting the job done. The Callistos are ready to leave, but Miles is not sure about M.E.R.C., as he is busy playing with the Robo-Penguins.
