"Galactech: The Space Trader Strikes Back" is the first segment of the fifty-second episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on June 10, 2017 alongside "Galactech: The Vanishing Callistos", and is the first segment of the twenty-second episode in the second season.

Plot[]

In the Stellosphere, Miles and M.E.R.C. head to Miles' room to tell Darrah the good news. Once in his room, Miles tells Darrah that he can go to the robot pet factory on Planet Conmentum with Darrah because Admirals Watson and Crick are on vacation for the day, which means no missions for the Callistos. Miles then tells Darrah how great robot pet day is, stating how everyone likes being matched up with their robot-pets. After the call ends, Stella informs Miles about a call from the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. Miles does not think it is the Admirals calling as they are on vacation.

On the bridge, the Callistos were wondering the same thing, and Phoebe decides to put the call through. The connection is bad, and robot-copies of Watson and Crick show up on the screen. They claim that they had to cut their vacation short to give the Callistos an important mission. They also say that they are fine, but they are actually on Dashiell Scamp's ship, the Rapscallion. Dalton tells Scamp that they fooled the Callistos, who think that this is the real Watson and Crick. Scamp says that is incredible, since that is the worst robot he has ever seen. Dalton wants to see Scamp build a robot without any help. The "Admirals" then task the Callistos to fix an explorer drone which has broken down. They then send the Callistos the coordinates of the "drone" before signing off. Phoebe does not think that something seems weird about the Admirals, and Miles hopes he can make it to the robot pet factory in time to meet Darrah. Leo says that after the mission is finished, they will drop Miles off there, and Darrah can save him a spot in line. The Callistos then head towards the coordindates.

Afterwards, Scamp decides to make his biggest trade yet: for the robot pet maker. Despite the machine only making robot pets, Scamp says that robots are robots, and they will make a perfectly fine crew. Meanwhile, the Admiral bots continue to act strangely, and Dalton is sent to take care of them while Scamp sets a course for the robot pet factory.

Once the Stellosphere arrives at the coordinates, the Callistos do not see the drone, and Loretta claims that there is no drone anywhere in that area. Phoebe decides to call the Admirals back. The Admirals claim the drone drifted away, and after saying "Keep looking. Over the moon and out", they start glitching. Watson turns his head around 360 degrees while Crick has two of his eyes popped out. This is when Miles realizes that they are not the Admirals, but robots. The holo-screen then shows Scamp, who greets the Callistos. It also shows him at the robot pet factory. Scamp tells Dalton to get the pet maker on his ship before signing off. Miles says that Scamp tricked the Callistos with the admiral bots to steal the robot pet maker. Leo says that it is valuable, although it may not look like it, because its tech is so advanced, it took years to build. Phoebe then sets a course for Planet Conmentum, and activates the ship's Galactech Mode to get there quicker.

Scamp, Dalton, and the admiral bots break into the robot pet factory, and after seeing Bibelow, the three hide. Scamp tells Dalton and the admiral bots to get the pet maker into the Rapscallion while he settles his business with Mr. Bibelow. Scamp teleports to where Bibelow is, gives Bibelow Scamp's signature toy, and teleports him into a room, where Scamp announces that he will take the robot pet maker before locking its doors. Afterwards, Dalton and the admiral bots finish loading the pet maker onto the ship. Miles goes with M.E.R.C. to head inside the ship before its doors close.

While they are making their way through the ship, it takes off, and shortly activates its Invisitech. Leo turns on the Stellosphere's ion filter to see the heat the Rapscallion's engines leave behind, and chases after it. Miles and M.E.R.C. are on the outside of the Rapscallion's bridge when Scamp stops them and closes the doors to the bridge. Before they fully close, Miles uses his Lazerang to turn off the ship's Invisitech. Miles then orders Scamp to return the robot pet maker because lots of kids are depending on it. He also says that Miles and M.E.R.C. care if kids do not get their robot pets. They then say that Scamp is as good as caught, so Scamp decides to hide his ship until the Callistos go away, and tells Miles and M.E.R.C. to shove off. They then head back towards the ship's hangar.

Scamp then tells the ship computer to locate the nearest, dustiest nebula and take the ship into it. The computer finds one and announces the arrival in three minutes. Just then, the admiral bots and Dalton arrive, are questioned where Miles and M.E.R.C. are, and go back for them. Meanwhile, Leo and Phoebe find out that if Scamp goes into the dark nebula, the Callistos will lose them. Loretta tells Miles to hurry. Miles and M.E.R.C. successfully dodge Dalton and the admiral bots before Miles wraps his Blastbuckle tether around the robot pet maker. He then uses his Lazerang to open the ship's doors, and Miles and M.E.R.C. escape with the pet maker. Scamp concludes that Miles has got talent.

Back at Planet Conmentum, Mr. Bibelow wishes everyone a happy robot pet day, and tells everyone to be matched with their robot pets. Shortly afterwards, Darrah's robot pet is revealed to be a robo-parrot, which Darrah likes, and says that robot pet day is blastastic. Miles says that today's was the most blastastic one yet.
