"Galaxias Quest" is the first segment of the thirty-seventh episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on August 8, 2016 alongside "Galactech: Mission to the Sun", and is the first segment of the seventh episode in the second season.

Plot[]

In the activity room, Miles activates his Galaxias game gear. He tells M.E.R.C. that the Tomorrowland Transit Authority was supposed to release a new Galaxias level in a few days, but they did so today. Miles then asks Stella to download the new game, which she does. A pixel named Galaxel welcomes Miles to Level X. The goal is to touch one hundred rings without hitting any obstacles. Miles touches five rings before the crystals knock him off. Galaxel offers Miles another attempt when Phoebe calls Miles for lunch. Miles tells Galaxel that he and M.E.R.C. will be back soon.

While having lunch, Miles tells the Callistos that Level X is hard. Leo tells Miles that Galaxias is good practice for missions, as it helps the Callistos think fast. Miles is not sure he will ever beat Level X, but Phoebe tells him that if he sets his mind to something, he does it.

Later, a confident Miles successfully touches all one hundred rings without touching any obstacles, and Galaxel congratulates him. Then, a new portal appears in front of Miles and M.E.R.C. Miles assumes that there is a prize or something in there, and goes through it with M.E.R.C. Afterwards, The GameMaster meets them, and congratulates Miles for completing Level X. Miles and M.E.R.C. introduce themselves to The GameMaster, who reveals herself to be the one who makes holo-games, including Galaxias. The GameMaster also tells them that they are in her workshop on Planet Lumaro. Miles thinks that making holo-games is a good job. After being questioned by Miles about the portal appearing after he completed Level X, The GameMaster reveals that she added a secret door in Level X for when a player wins, and that door brought Miles to the workshop because he is the only player that won. She also added a secret door because her best friend, Grace, is lost. Grace is The GameMaster's robo-kangaroo. Recently, Grace was helping her make a new level, Level Z. Grace is really good at getting around the planet, so she went to take some pictures of a strange planet, but soon after she left, The GameMaster lost contact with Grace. Miles questions if The GameMaster should go look for her herself, and they head out of the workshop.

Once outside the workshop, The GameMaster sees that Planet Lumaro has lots of different obstacles. Even though she is a master at making games, The GameMaster does not have what it takes to find Grace, so she needed to find someone that does, someone like Miles, who has been training for this. Miles also reveals that the terrain looks just like Level X, the level The GameMaster created, and whoever does well in the game will do great on Planet Lumaro. Miles always knows what it is like to have a best friend, and accepts the challenge. The GameMaster then gives Miles a go-back button if the journey becomes too difficult and he wants to turn back. The button will bring him back to her workshop, and Miles decides to keep it. The GameMaster tells Miles that Grace went towards a big mountain. Miles and M.E.R.C. decide to fly there, but that does not work since The GameMaster also tells them that Lumaro has a special fog that does not let anyone use propulsion systems, and she never said it would be easy. Miles tells M.E.R.C. that when he woke up this morning, he did not expect to be on a weird planet searching for a robo-kangaroo.

Miles and M.E.R.C. begin their quest, while hopping to different moving rocks. M.E.R.C. leaps for a rock, but hangs by his beak. Miles uses his Blastbuckle tether to bring him back to him. Miles tells M.E.R.C. that he does not want to lose him the way The GameMaster lost Grace. After considering to use the go-back button, Miles continues to head towards the mountain with M.E.R.C. Once they make it there, Miles wonders which path Grace took. Miles and M.E.R.C. decide to use infrared mode, which lets them see heat, including the footprints Grace left, revealing that she took the hardest path. Miles sees the crystals that are just like the ones in Galaxias. Miles and M.E.R.C. dodge the crystals and make it to a cave which leads to another part of the mountain. A boulder is quickly approaching, and Miles and M.E.R.C. run away from it. M.E.R.C. grabs a branch to a platform where they see a mountain. They then see Grace, whose battery is out of power. They hop on a rock, but it suddenly stops. Just as Miles decides to use the go-back button, M.E.R.C. says otherwise, and Miles says that they can not give up. Miles wonders if they have floating rocks going in the direction of Grace. M.E.R.C. decides to break up the rock and make stepping stones. The plan works, but a planetquake occurs, causing the mountain that Grace is on to fall apart. Miles and M.E.R.C. hop on different floating rocks to make it to the mountain just as Grace falls off it. Miles grabs her, and uses the go-back button to take them and M.E.R.C. back to the workshop.

The GameMaster is pleased to see Grace again, and charges her to full power. The GameMaster thanks Miles and M.E.R.C. for completing the task, and Miles appreciates it. The GameMaster tells Miles to keep the go-back button in case he wants to go back to her workshop. Miles and M.E.R.C. then take the portal back to the Stellosphere, and The GameMaster is happy that Grace is back with her. Once Miles and M.E.R.C. arrive at the activity room, they are told by Loretta that she downloaded Level X and wants to play it with them, but Miles puts his helmet on Loretta and decides to read a book.
