Synopsis[]
Vee invites her friends over for family game night and teaches them some of her favorite Transylvania games.
Plot[]
Boris is setting the mood for spooky game night. Oxana dances along with him, although she doesn't want to spill the scareberry punch. Oxana mentions that this is for Vampirina and her new friends. Vampirina is so excited, as Poppy and Bridget will be at the Scare B&B any minute. She mentions how fun the games were at home. Oxana and Boris go through the different suggestions, and Vampirina picks Skelly Run, the Hauntley's favorite board game they thought they lost forever. The last time they played that game was when they were visiting Uncle Dieter, and Boris won. Poppy and Bridget then arrive.
They are ready for the most spooktacular game night ever. They brought Blocko and Twist 'Em Up as the games, but Vampirina says that they are unneeded, as they're going to play Skelly Run. Bridget wonders if it has anything to do with skeletons. Once the game activates, Bridget thinks she hears Miss Cuddlecakes calling her. Vampirina tells her that it's just the right amount of spooky. Bridget also doesn't like spider snacks, as eight legs is too many. Boris mentions the rules of Skelly Run, where the winner is the first player to catch the skeleton. Also, when it's a player's turn, pick any card. However, each card has a picture that turns into an obstacle that tries to get in the player's way, causing the skeleton to escape. Three rounds are played, which is why there are three skeletons.
The game then begins. The first card picked is the one with the rocks, picked by Poppy. Rock monsters appear in an attempt to stall Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget. Vampirina grabs the first skeleton, causing the rocks to disappear. Vampirina mentions that they didn't know what to expect in the first round, but the game will get easier. Bridget picks the next card, which is the one with the eyeballs. She is scared about it, but after being told by Poppy that eyeballs can't be as bad as rock monsters, Bridget decides to give it a try. The card activates, and the second skeleton runs away. Boris and Oxana, as bats, are watching, and mention that the eyeball round can get pretty slippery. Vampirina then turns into a bat to chase the skeleton while Poppy and Bridget dodge the giant eyeball. Vampirina gets the second skeleton, but Bridget doesn't want to play anymore, as it isn't that fun. They then decide to play the last round.
Vampirina says that the final round of Skelly Run is spider webs. She mentions that it's more webby then spidery. Webs then fill the room before the third skeleton runs away. As Vampirina chases the skeleton and eventually catches it, Poppy and Bridget don't like the webs, and don't risk going through them. They say that they're not having as much fun as Vampirina is. Poppy mentions that the Skelly Run box says, "For ages 300 and up." Vampirina apologizes to Poppy and Bridget for making them play Skelly Run. Bridget says that they did want to play, and that it was just too hard. Vampirina says that she wanted to share Skelly Run with Poppy and Bridget, but this is game night, and game nights are supposed to be fun. She then decides for everyone to play the games they brought. Vampirina then sings a song about games needing to be lots of fun for everyone to pick, and that a game is more fun when it's fun for everyone. They then play games that are fun for all of them. Poppy is up for another game night soon, as well as Bridget. Vampirina tells Boris and Oxana everything that happened and that she, Bridget, and Poppy are playing Blocko. Boris and Oxana join in for round two, and Vampirina says that it's the best game night ever.
