"Garden of Evil" is the fourteenth episode of Aladdin, originally aired on September 14, 1994.
Synopsis
Twenty years ago, a young Sultan goes to a garden to take a flower and give it to his wife. But then, Arbutus, the garden's master, tells the Sultan that twenty years later, he will have his most valuable treasure.
Today, Aladdin promises the Sultan that he will guard the treasure room so Arbutus will not steal them. However, it's revealed that when Arbutus said "treasure", he meant Jasmine. So he kidnaps the princess to take her to his garden. Aladdin and the gang follow Arbutus to rescue Jasmine.
Meanwhile, Arbutus shows Jasmine his art and tells her how much he loves his garden. Jasmine begins to understand, but then Aladdin shows up and fights Arbutus. He kills the sorcerer by cutting off the rose on his chest. Jasmine tells him that Arbutus loved his garden as much as they love each other.
So Aladdin and his friends water the rose in hopes that Arbutus may someday live again.
