Garry Emmanuel Shandling was an American actor, comedian, writer, director, and producer. He was best known for starring in his self-titled sitcom It's Garry Shandling's Show, as well as in the HBO sitcom The Larry Sanders Show. He was also well-known for voicing a Male Pigeon in the 1998 comedy film Dr. Dolittle and Verne the turtle in the 2006 DreamWorks animated film Over the Hedge.
For Disney, he portrayed Jack in Mother Goose Rock 'n' Rhyme and Senator Stern in Iron Man 2 and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. He also voiced Ikki in the 2016 live-action remake of The Jungle Book (his final film role).
