Gary Leonard Oldman is an English screen and stage actor, voice actor, filmmaker, and musician who is best known for his roles as Sid Vicious in Sid and Nancy, Joe Orton in Prick Up Your Ears, Lee Harvey Oswald in JFK, Count Dracula in Bram Stoker's Dracula, Norman Stansfield in Léon: The Professional, Ludwig van Beethoven in Immortal Beloved, Sirius Black in the Harry Potter films, Lord Shen, the main antagonist of Kung Fu Panda 2, Ruber, the main villain of Quest for Camelot, James Gordon in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy, and George Smiley in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, for which he received an nomination for an Academy Award for Best Actor and later won in the same category for his performance as Winston Churchill in the critically acclaimed war drama film, Darkest Hour.

His Disney roles include Bob Cratchit, Jacob Marley, and Tiny Tim in Robert Zemeckis' 2009 animated film, A Christmas Carol and Rev. Arthur Dimmesdale in The Scarlet Letter. He also portrayed Russian Radek loyalist Ivan Korshunov in Air Force One, and Alistair Russell in The Woman in the Window. He was mentioned in Geek Charming.
