Gavin James Creel was an American stage actor, singer, songwriter, and producer, who, for Disney, appeared as Bill in Eloise at the Plaza and Eloise at Christmastime, voiced Matthews in Tangled: The Series, and portrayed Bert in Mary Poppins in London's West End. He also played Prince Eric in a 2003 workshop production of The Little Mermaid.

Creel was born in Findlay, Ohio and attended Findlay High School. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theatre at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance in 1998. Beginning his career in regional theater, Creel appeared in productions of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Kiss Me Kate, Chess, and On the Town.

In 2001, Creel took part in a workshop production of Spring Awakening before making his Broadway debut in Thoroughly Modern Millie. He has since appeared in further Broadway and touring companies of Hair, Bounce, La Cage aux Folles, Flashdance, The Book of Mormon, She Loves Me, Waitress, Into the Woods, and Hello, Dolly!, where he won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. He has also written a musical called Walk on Through: Confessions of a Museum Novice.
