General Dox, also known as just Dox, is a Marvel Comics character who made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the second season of Loki. She is a General of the Time Variance Authority who ordered the resetting of countless branched timelines, causing in billions of deaths.
General Dox was created by Dan Slott.
Background[]
General Dox previously had a happy life on the Sacred Timeline before she unknowingly created a nexus event and was captured by the Time Variance Authority and her timeline was destroyed. Instead of being pruned and sent to the Void like all other Variants, she was spared by He Who Remains, who erased her memories and made her a minuteman. She eventually climbed the ranks to general.
For a while, General Dox and the rest of the TVA's employees knew He Who Remains was the organization's founder and ruler. However, sometime after the Multiversal War ended, He Who Remains decided to erase the memories of his employees again, and created the Time Keepers. After this, his employees were told they and the TVA were created by the Time Keepers, unaware of the fact that they were mindless androids controlled by He Who Remains.
Physical appearance[]
General Dox is a middle-aged woman of Scottish descent. During meetings and such, she wears a light brown shirt with her countless medals on it. While on duty, she wears a typical outfit used by minutemen and hunters, except she does not wear a helmet.

Loki[]
After Loki and Sylvie releasing the multiverse, the Time Keepers revealed to be androids, and Ravonna Renslayer disappearing, a meeting was called in the War Room concerning the unethical practice of pruning, which Dox attended. Dox insisted that the TVA keep pruning, as that was how she was trained, though Hunter B-15 disagreed, saying there were people with lives on the branched timelines. After a heated argument, Judge Gamble gave the order to stop pruning, which Dox disagreed with.
After the meeting, Hunter B-15 spotted General Dox leading an army into a Timedoor, and another hunter named X-5 told them it was for Sylvie. Due to the sheer amount of equipment and soldiers, B-15 doubted X-5's statement.
The army that General Dox put together was not for capturing Sylvie, but for resetting the branched timelines. Dox led her loyalists to an unspecified location and opened multiple Time Doors. She ordered her soldiers to reset as many timelines as they could, which she believed would save the TVA.
After some time, Loki, Sylvie, and Mobius, and Hunter D-90 were able to find Dox and her soldiers. She told them to reset as many timelines as they could before they were captured. After a brief fight, Dox and her loyalists were arrested and brought back to the TVA.
General Dox and her loyalists were put in the same room as X-5, who attempted to go back to the Sacred Timeline. Hunter B-15 tried to recruit them to help defend the TVA. Without an answer, B-15 left, leaving time for Dox and her loyalists to think over her proposition. X-5 tried to convince Dox that they would prune them after they were done with them. While X-5 was talking, Ravonna Renslayer, along with Miss Minutes appeared through a Time Door. Renslayer tried to convince them that B-15 was taking over the TVA and that she would save it. In return for helping her, Ravonna offered anyone who helped her with a life on the Sacred Timeline. X-5 accepted this offer, though Dox and her loyalists declined. After declining, Miss Minutes turned on the Gizmo, which trapped Dox and her loyalists in a Time Cube. Slowly the cube shrunk, which caused Dox and her loyalists to scream in pain while the cube was crushing them alive.
