Role in the film

Teagler and the old home guard protect Pepperinge Eye from the Nazis. When they invade there, he and the old home guard go into battle. When the Nazis flee for the submarine after getting defeated by the possessed armor, he and the old home guard attack them and stop when they are far away from Pepperinge Eye. He then says, "I think we taught them a lesson. They'll think twice before coming back here again."

In the end, Professor Emelius Brown joins Teagler in the old home guard and they escort him to the army base for Pepperinge Eye is safe from the Nazis.
