- “Sometimes being friends with a colossal screw-up isn't so bad.”
- ―Scratch[src]
Geoff is a supporting character in the series The Ghost and Molly McGee.
Background[]
Personality[]
Geoff is a cheery dimwitted ghost, who unlike Scratch, is very sociable. He sees himself as Scratch's friend, while Scratch sees him as an "Annoying Co-Worker".
Physical appearance[]
Geoff is a green ghost with a large nose, yellow teeth, orange sclera, black pupils, a double chin, a large upper lip, and bald except for the hair on the sides of his scalp.
Powers and abilities[]
He has standard ghost powers, such as floating and invisibility. Like Scratch, Geoff is able to morph his body into any shape at will.
Trivia[]
- In "The Many Lives of Scratch", Scratch reveals that Geoff's death involved "a vat of chocolate" and a "floaty malfunction", implying that he died drowning in chocolate.
- Had the series been renewed for a third season, there would have been an episode titled "Dead and Breakfast" where he and Jeff open a bed and breakfast for the McGees.[1] Additionally, the unproduced episode "Saving Purim" would have revealed that he and Jeff are Jewish.[2]
- In the original pitch bible, Geoff was named Kevin and he was depicted as being incompetent at being a ghost to the point that he was always turning to Scratch for help in scaring people.
- It is revealed in Jinx vs. The Human World that he was the ghost who scared Ruben Chen. However, this was accidental due to Ruben blowing dust in his face and making him sneeze.
