George Herbert Walker Bush was an American politician, diplomat, and businessman, who served as the 43rd Vice-President of the United States between 1981 and 1989 and the 41st President of the United States of America between 1989 and 1993. He was first elected president in 1988, but would lose re-election to President Bill Clinton in the 1992 Presidential Election. He is also the father of George W. Bush, who would be elected twice as the 43rd President of the United States of America in 2000 and 2004 and served in office between 2001 and 2009.
For Disney, he would appear as an audio-animatronic in the Hall of Presidents in the last update of the 1971-1993 Version before its major refurbishment that saw the addition of the Incumbent President giving a speech to the attraction. He would also host the inaugural ceremony for the Daily Point of Light Award in 1991 at E.P.C.O.T. inside the American Gardens Theatre as a part of the 20th-anniversary celebration of the Walt Disney World Resort (President Bush's son, George W. Bush would award the Walt Disney Company itself with the Daily Point of Light Award when he served his first term as the 43rd President of the United States in 2004). Lastly, he appeared in the opening to Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue alongside his wife, Barbera.
