George Hosato Takei is a Japanese-American actor, voice actor, and author, who is well known for his distinctive deep tenor voice. He is best known for his role as Hikaru Sulu in the Star Trek series, and also portrayed the character in six Star Trek feature films, and one episode of Star Trek: Voyager and Emperor Yoshiro in Command and Conquer Red Alert 3.
For Disney, he voiced the First Ancestor Fa of the Fa Family Ancestors in the 1998 Disney animated feature film Mulan and reprised the role in its 2004 direct-to-video sequel, Zen Master in Pepper Ann, Master Sensei in the Disney Channel animated series Kim Possible, Mr. Ptolemy in Hercules, Lok Durd in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Mr. Kobayashi in Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero, and Spectryx in Miles from Tomorrowland. He also voiced King Toshi in Elena of Avalor, Dr. Sweet Tooth in The 7D, Shinji Yokohama in Hit-Monkey, Mr. Littlepot in Amphibia, and Senshuu in the Disney+ series Star Wars: Visions.
In addition, Takei portrayed himself in both Muppets Tonight in episode 211 and Cory in the House, Rome Tipton, the descendant of London Tipton, in the The Suite Life on Deck episode "Starship Tipton".
