"Get Whale Soon" is the second segment of the twenty-sixth episode of the Disney Channel animated series Hailey's On It!
Synopsis[]
Hailey's attempts to save a whale are interrupted by her talkative next-door neighbors.
Plot[]
Finishing up their log painting list item, Beta is confused why it was even a list item to begin with. Hailey explains that it is just a good one to do and reveals a mantra she painted on one "A Good Deed is Never Lost". Beta feels that that quote is ironic as he points out that Hailey has never done a good deed on her own that wasn't influenced by the list. Scott also reveals that he bought an inflatable banana which he hopes to use for whatever the next list item is. Beta explains that the next list item is to save a whale, and he points to a news report that a baby whale got separated from its pod and is lost at Oceanside beach.
As Hailey and Scott are about to leave, they are stopped by the former's new neighbors, David and Leo who are asking everyone if they have seen their dog Winston. The kids, putt off by their eccentric tastes, politely decline and leave to the beach. Borrowing a boat, they attempt to get the whale's attention, first by making noise, and then by feeding it crabs, only for the whale to panic and end up getting beached. Hailey and Scott regroup and the latter comes up with the idea to use his inflatable banana to get the whale back into the ocean. After having to repackage it, they end up having to help David and Leo with inflating their bike tires which are incredibly large.
Hailey and Scott make it back to the beach, but find other people helping the whale already. After running into Leo and David again, they spot Winston on a rock in the high tide. Hailey reluctantly decides to put off saving the whale to save Winston instead, using Scott's inflatable banana to get him. They successfully save him, but the whale has already been rescued. Hailey's watch suddenly glows, indicating that the list item was completed anyway. It turns out that David and Leo's surname is Whale, as is their dog Winston. As Hailey is happy over the indirect completion, a crab pops the inflatable banana, much to Scott's despair.

- This episode seemingly takes place immediately after the previous one, as it features Hailey and Scott completing the list item they were in the middle of doing previously.
- Scott speaks to the whale in the same as Dory from the Finding Nemo franchise does.
