Get on the Wagon Rolling West (also known as "The Pioneer Song") is a song featured in The Legend of Johnny Appleseed, a segment from the 1948 animated Disney film, Melody Time. It is sung when Johnny Appleseed looks at a group of pioneers marching and singing they will find new land to settle at to which Johnny feels excited that he wants to join the pioneers searching for new land. However, it turns out that Johnny was just pretending to be a pioneer marching west.
