Glordon is the tritagonist of the 2025 Disney•Pixar animated feature film Elio. He is a Hylurgian boy that is the son of Lord Grigon who befriends Elio Solis and aids him on his adventures throughout the Communiverse.

Background

Official Description

Glordon is the tenderhearted son of Grigon, the warlord ruler of the planet Hylurg. Gregarious and kind, the princeling is about to be installed in his fearsome battle armor and take his rightful place at his father's side. Glordon says he's excited about his future because that's what he's supposed to say and feel. But as Elio's unexpected first friend—and surprise bargaining chip—Glordon might feel comfortable divulging his deepest secret to his new buddy.

Physical appearance

Just like most Hylurgians, Glordon appears to be a purple-skinned tardigrade-like alien who has no eyes, and multiple sharp teeth in every inside of his mouth as well a greenish-black carapace with glowing blue spots over his body.

Personality

Glordon has the appeal of a naive but sweet child. It's the latter description that makes it rather hard for him to live up to the toxic expectations of his father, Grigon, who wants him to follow in his kind's traditional footsteps of intergalactic conquest. He ends up finding a kindred spirit in Elio, who also feels pressured into being something that he's not through his aunt.

• Glordon is similar to Stitch from Lilo & Stitch;
  • Both of them are opposed to follow in the footsteps they were meant to do, Lord Grigon wanted his son to be a warlord and Jumba created Stitch to cause destruction and never gave him a purpose outside his programming.
  • Both of them made a friend with a human child companion.
• When Elio gets into his mouth while they're in the lava tunnels, Glordon is able to talk with his mouth full.
