Goofy's Birthday...in Space! is the 61st episode of Mickey Mouse Funhouse and the seventh episode of the third season. It premiered on May 3, 2024.
Synopsis[]
Goofy's birthday party keeps getting interrupted by Rocket Mouse's outer space emergencies.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Goofy and Windy pretending to fly a spaceship through an asteroid field as his friends come out of Funny to greet him a happy birthday. Mickey gives Goofy an invitation card from Rocket Mouse for a birthday celebration at Asteroid Pete's Fun Center in outer space, which excites him. Everyone then boards Funny, who transforms into a rocket ship and blasts off into space.
The gang reaches Asteroid Pete's Fun Center and meets Rocket Mouse. They are greeted by Asteroid Pete, who introduces them to the birthday activities, such as Star Surfing with Star Surfer Chip and Wave Runner Dale. Before the fun begins, however, Rocket Mouse gets a distress call from someone in the galaxy. His electric spaceship is not fully charged yet, so Funny offers him a ride as he is always fully charged. Goofy agrees to let Rocket Mouse help.
Rocket Mouse and Funny eventually find that the distress call was sent by Cosmo Cockroach, whose spaceship boosters stopped working. Before, Rocket Mouse can fix them, however, he, Funny, and Cosmo start getting sucked into a cosmic corkscrew. Rocket Mouse sends a distress call to the Funhouse Friends back at Asteroid Pete's and everyone, including Goofy, agrees to go help them using Rocket Mouse's fully-charged electric spaceship.
The friends elect Goofy as the captain, and he assigns Donald to be the engineer, Daisy in charge of comms, Minnie to be the navigator, and Mickey to be the helmsman. The gang eventually reaches Rocket Mouse and company, but they start getting sucked into the cosmic corkscrew. Goofy combines Rocket Mouse's spaceship with Funny's power to help everyone escape the cosmic corkscrew. Rocket Mouse congratulates Goofy on a job well done and they all head back to Asteroid Pete's for a fun birthday celebration. Eventually, the Funhouse Friends return to Earth and Funny produces a souvenir to remember their trip. The episode ends with Mickey and Minnie waving goodbye to the viewers.

Trivia[]
- The episode functions as a parody of Star Trek with several elements borrowed or taken directly from the franchise, including:
- Rocket Mouse's ship being called the Starship Rocketmaster.
- The Rocketmaster features two raised engine nacelles with pointed spinning nosecones like the warp nacelles on the Enterprise.
- The nose is a dish and antenna like the Enterprise's navigational deflector dish.
- Cosmo Cockroach's ship is lost in the Delta Quadrant, just like the Starship Voyager.
- The characters set themselves up into a standard bridge crew with Goofy as captain, Mickey as helmsman, Minnie as navigator, Daisy as comms and Donald as the engineer.
- The bridge is basically the bridge of the Enterprise, with sliding doors, the captain's chair behind the helm/nav console, the wraparound rail and more stations on a second level behind the rail.
- Goofy's command chair has buttons on the arm like Kirk's.
- Goofy basically jumps the ship to warp. When he does so, the stars do a star streak like TNG.
- When Goofy calls "Engineer Donald, more power!", Donald responds "I'm giving it all she's got, Captain!", which is the exchange between Kirk and Scotty in the 2009 movie, which is mimetically passed from the show (where the line doesn't appear).
