"Goofy's Grandma" is the twenty-fourth episode of Mickey Mouse.
Synopsis[]
Mickey agrees to let Goofy's grandma stay at his house, but he soon learns that she isn't the sweet old lady she appears to be.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Mickey Mouse reading a newspaper in his chair, until he hears the doorbell ringing. Mickey answers it and sees Goofy outside, nervously telling Mickey that his grandma's on the town, and his place isn't fit for her to live and asks Mickey if she can stay in his house for a night. Mickey accepts the offer and Goofy closes the door to get his grandma (from outside). The doorbell rings again, and then enters Grandma Goofy.
When Mickey asks to have some lovely tea biscuits for a snack, but she says that she's fixing herself with a sandwich and she eats it in one gulp. While watching TV, Grandma Goofy insists on watching a monster truck rally. While sleeping, Grandma Goofy wakes him up very quickly playing the bugle. Aggravated, Mickey confronts her in his kitchen, but Grandma Goofy makes him a heart shaped pancakes, but she, like her grandson, slips and splatters all the food on Mickey's face and destroys his cupboard.
Finally furious, Mickey calls Goofy and angrily tells him that his grandma has to leave, Goofy begs him for one night, but Mickey hesitantly refuses. Goofy thanks him, anyway, much to Mickey's annoyance. Suddenly, the phone call is coming from Grandma Goofy. Mickey hangs up, and starts furiously ripping off the wig, but real Goofy is here. Mickey drops down and sobs that he just hurt his friend's grandma.
Suddenly, Grandma Goofy reveals her true identity: Goofy. And the other Goofy is actually Donald. Goofy pays him as Donald leaves. Mickey asks Goofy why he would do such a thing and the latter replies through tears that he couldn't stay one more night in his house because there was a spider. Determinedly, Mickey decides to confront the spider at Goofy's house and get rid of it.
At Goofy's house, Goofy warns Mickey not to look directly at the spider's mandibles and Mickey reassures him that the spider is small, only to confront a gigantic spider, causing him to loudly scream in terror. Mickey and Goofy disguise themselves as their grandmothers and decide to stay at Donald's house for a few days, leaving the latter annoyed, ending the episode.
