Graham Greene (CM) is a Canadian Native First Nations (Oneida) actor who has worked on stage and in film and television productions in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. His work with Disney includes his role as Peter Yellowbear in Snow Dogs, John Blackhorse in Buffalo Dreams, Maximus in the FX series Reservation Dogs, and as Skully in the Marvel TV series Echo. He also narrated Brother Bear as part of Disney's Storyteller album series.
Born on the he Six Nations Reserve in Ontario, Greene worked in various trade before focusing on acting. By the 1970s, he began performing in theater venues in Canada and England where was a part of productions, such as Wacousta, Dry Lips Oughta Move to Kapuskasi, The Crackwalker, History of the Village of the Small Huts, and The Merchant of Venice.
Switching to screen acting by the 1980s, Greene made his film debut with Running Brave. He achieved higher recognition appearing Kevin Costner's Dances with Wolves as Kicking Bird, which earned him an Academy Award nomination for "Best Supporting Actor". He made further appearances with Thunderheart, Maverick, Die Hard with a Vengeance, The Education of Little Tree, The Green Mile, Skins, Transamerica, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Casino Jack, Winter's Tale, The Shack, Wind River, Shadow Wolves, and The Wolf and the Lion. His television credits include Spirit Bay, The Adventures of Dudley the Dragon, The Campbells, L.A. Law, Murder, She Wrote, Northern Exposure, North of 60, The Red Green Show, Lonesome Dove: The Series, Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child, Wolf Lake, Defiance, Longmire, Riverdale, and Reservation Dogs. He also appeared in made-for-television films, such as The Pathfinder, The New Beachcombers, Into the West, 1883, and Spirit Bear: The Simon Jackson Story.
