The Graveyard Cats are characters from the original Haunted Mansion attraction at the Disney Parks.

Background

These three cats are a trio of cats that are found in the graveyard area of the Haunted Mansion. They would often be seen sitting on a ledge in the graveyard where they would occasionally meow to the song, along with a group of ghost musicians playing "Grim Grinning Ghosts", alongside two owls and a howling canine from a distance. It is unknown if they are stray cats that arrived at the manor's grounds or if they are pet cats that travel to the mansion.

The Haunted Mansion

In each version of the attraction, the cats are encountered in the graveyard area where they are seen standing on a ledge in the graveyard meowing along with a group of ghostly musicians while a duo of owls hoot and join in the singing while a canine howls in the background during the "Grim Grinning Ghosts" sequence.

Haunted Mansion Holiday

The cats reprise their role in the classic overlay of the attraction while the graveyard is decorated with Halloween-themed Christmas decorations.

Trivia

• The graveyard cats are one of the few characters who are seen in physical form in the attraction with no indication of the cats being deceased or in paranormal form.
