Gravik is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe who was introduced in the Disney+ show Secret Invasion, serving as the main antagonist. He is a Skrull that became the Skrull General after stripping Talos of his rank and a member of the Skrull Council who plotted to make Earth the Skrulls' new planet by starting a nuclear war between Russia and the United States.
Background[]
After his parents were killed in a battle at Skrullos during the Kree-Skrull War in the 1990s, a young Gravik was able to find a spaceship and bring it to Earth, where he was found by Varra, who brought him to Nick Fury and Talos.
While at the meeting he was brought to, Fury told him his parents had died a great death and touched foreheads, which was considered a sign of respect to the Skrulls. Fury then told the Skrulls present that he would help them find a new home.
After joining Fury's cause, he was ordered by Fury to kill a man of Southern Asian descent, and later took his identity. Fury continued to ask Gravik to kill, which made Gravik colder and more heartless every time he took a life.
Following the Battle of Earth, Fury discovered that most of the participants had shed blood during the battle, and Fury soon sent a team led by Gravik to locate the blood. Fury then mixed the blood into a vial, which he named the Harvest, and later hid it.
After the Blip, Fury abandoned the problems of the Skrulls and left for space. Soon after, Gravik built a safe haven for refugee Skrulls at an abandoned factory in Russia and named it New Skrullos.
Soon after, Fury concocted a plan to invade Earth by causing a nuclear world war, specifically between the United States and Russia. After humans would extinct themselves as a result of the war, Gravik planned to use Earth as the Skrulls' new planet. He first formed the Skrull Resistance, and later had members of the resistance impersonate powerful figures on the planet, such as the prime minister of the United Kingdom and the president of NATO. He then was elected to the Skrull Council and made himself Skrull General after stripping Talos of the title after he failed to find a planet for the Skrulls. He also ordered a Skrull named Raava to impersonate James Rhodes to get close to the President of the United States and influence his decisions.
Gravik soon planned to bomb Vossoyedineniye Square in Russia and make the US look like the culprits. In preparation, he led a raid to seize multiple bombs from Kazakhstan.
Later, he found out a CIA agent named Prescod had found out his plans and sent a Skrull to kill him.
Physical appearance[]
In his natural form, Gravik looks like a typical Skrull. While impersonating the first human he killed, he appears as a young Southern Asian man who has black hair. After consuming the Harvest, Gravik's abilities are enhanced, and he appears more muscular than before.

Secret Invasion[]
While at a table, G'iah brought a new recruit named Beto to Gravik, and he showed him New Skrullos and told him his options of being part of the resistance. Gravik then brought Beto to the fracking pods, where they saw another Skrull named Brogan take the appearance of an Americans Against Russia member as part of their plan to take over Earth.
Later, another Skrull named Pagon informed Gravik that Nick Fury had returned to Earth but assured him that he was not a threat. The following day, Gravik set his plan to bomb Vossoyedineniye Square in motion. Gravik placed multiple bombs throughout the square, and ordered Brogan, along with a few other Skrulls, to carry empty backpacks that were used to distract Fury. After Fury realized he had been tricked, Gravik pressed a button that set off the bombs. He then shapeshifted into Nick Fury and shot Maria Hill, who died of her injuries. He then left with G'iah.
The bombing had major effects around the world, with many nations, such as the United Kingdom, condemning the attack. The bombing also heightened tensions between Russia and the United States, as it was designed to do.
After the bombing, he drove with G'iah to a meeting with the Skrull Council, amusingly telling her how he wanted to see how the council would react to the bombings. At the building, the guard in front of the door would not give her access due to her not being a member of the council. Gravik then gave her his gun and told her to shoot the guard in the head if he did not come out in an hour.
After sitting down, a Skrull who impersonated a human named Shirley Sagar told him the reason for the meeting was to determine Gravik's punishment for his role in the bombings and for endangering the Skrull population on Earth as a result. Gravik then reminded them how Nick Fury had promised them a new home but failed to do so. Gravik then told them that he would take over Earth, and further assured them by saying humans were eventually going to destroy themselves, and that the Skrulls were only making their fate happen more quickly. Gravik and G'iah then returned to New Skrullos, where they were met with applause. Gravik then found Pagon and told him to continue research on the Harvest, though Pagon told him all of the locations that Gravik recommended where it might be had been empty. He was then greeted by a Skrull impersonating MI6 Director Derrik Weatherby who told him that Brogan was being held at a Russian security facility. Later, Gravik found G'iah at a computer and asked what she was doing. She replied that she was checking on Beto's progress. Suspicious, he asked her to join a mission to rescue Brogan.
Aside from G'iah, Gravik was assisted by Pagon and Beto in their rescue attempt. They drove to the site where Brogan was being kept, which was located inside of a butcher's shop. Inside, they saw Russian guards by the doors that held Brogan and began shooting at them. They were able to enter the room holding Brogan and began to assist him, as he was weakened. Before leaving, Gravik asked Brogan what he had revealed to his captors, though Brogan said he had revealed nothing.
As they were driving back to the safe house, they found it surrounded. Gravik believed that Brogan had revealed the location and ordered Pagon to take him outside and handed him a gun. The two then walked a few feet into the woods, where Pagon shot him, leaving him for dead.
Back in New Skrullos, Gravik informed the Skrull Council of his plan to have Beto, Pagon, and another Skrull named Zirksu infiltrate the United Kingdom's Royal Navy in order to shoot down a plane with multiple United Nations members in it to spark a war. He, along with the council, walked into the room containing the Skrull Power Replicator and told them he had found a way to give Skrulls enhanced abilities, which he named Super-Skrulls. Gravik then turned on the machine and turned himself into one.
Gravik soon began to suspect G'iah as being the mole who revealed the location of the safe house, as Brogan did not know it. G'iah retorted by saying that he must have guessed while he was being tortured. Gravik then told G'iah that they would be leaving for somewhere the next morning.
The following morning, the two flew to England, where Gravik had a meeting with Talos at the National Portrait Gallery, which G'iah drove him to.
Inside the building, Gravik and Talos talked about a painting. Soon after, the two sat down in a cafe. Talos tried to convince him to stop killing humans, though Gravik responded by mocking him by saying G'iah was in New Skrullos. This caused Talos to attack him, though as soon as he did, the other people in the cafe revealed themselves to be Skrulls, and soon changed back to their human disguises. Talos then threatened him by saying he would reveal the Skrulls to the public, though Gravik said that would cause the extinction of their race and again mocked Talos about G'iah, which caused him to stab a knife into Gravik's hand. Still, he was able to recover due to being turned into a Super-Skrull.
Gravik's plan to shoot down a United Nations plane was foiled, and he was soon informed that G'iah was the one who sabotaged the plan. After doing so, G'iah attempted to flee New Skrullos, though she was caught by Gravik in his car. G'iah attempted to make an excuse as to why she was leaving, though Gravik did not believe her. He then ordered her to turn around so he could shoot her, though she declined. He then shot her and drove away.
Later, Pagon noticed G'iah's absence and asked Gravik about it. Gravik told him she was the mole and that he had killed her.
Gravik soon developed a plan to assassinate Ritson, who was the President of the United States. Gravik and his fellow Skrulls would pretend to be Russians, in order to start a war between the two countries that would certainly end the human race.
Gravik watched from a helicopter as Ritson was being driven through the English countryside on his way to peace talks with Russia. Gravik soon ordered a missile to be fired at the motorcade. The Skrulls then landed from the helicopter and began firing at the Secret Service while trying to find Ritson. Gravik was soon told by Pagon that Talos and Nick Fury had arrived. Seeing that Talos was trying to locate Ritson, he ordered Pagon to stop him. He then saw that Talos had succeeded in finding Ritson, so he shapeshifted himself into a Secret Service agent. Gravik tried to convince Fury to put Ritson into his car, but he refused. Still shapeshifted, he went over to assist Talos and killed him in front of Fury, He was then shot by Fury, though he suffered no wound due to him being transformed into a Super-Skrull. He then left with Pagon.
After returning to New Skrullos, Gravik ordered a meeting with his operatives. During the meeting, Gravik expressed frustration that they had failed to kill Ritson. He then told Pagon that their war with Earth would have already begun if Pagon had found the Harvest. This angered Pagon, who responded by saying that he wanted Nick Fury alive, as he had multiple chances to kill him during the attack, though Gravik responded by saying that Fury was the only one who knew where the Harvest was located. Pagon then questioned Gravik's leadership skills. Furious, Gravik outstretched his hand in a way similar to Groot, and punched a hole through Pagon's chest, killing him. He then told the Skrull Resistance to kill Varra, who was impersonating Priscilla Fury, as she had failed to kill Nick Fury, Gravik then called Raava, who was impersonating James Rhodes and told him to keep Ritson alive in the hospital and to tell him that Russia and the Skrulls were working together. After some confusion by Raava, Gravik told him doing so would help get what he wanted, as Fury wanted to prevent World War III along with preventing innocent Skrulls from dying. Gravik then came down from the stairway he was on and saw Beto, who was visibly shaken. Gravik assured him that Pagon was a traitor and that no harm would come to him.
Soon after, Raava called Gravik and told him Ritson was out of heart surgery, and promised he would tell Gravik once Ritson ordered a strike against New Skrullos. He then walked through a door, where he was met by Skrulls upset about Pagon's death, and who opposed Gravik. They stuffed a plastic bag over his head as a way to suffocate him, though he was able to briefly escape. More attackers came upon him, who shoved him down on a table and began beating him. Blazing with anger, he was able to find some strength and overcome his attackers. A Skrull then attempted to stab him with a knife, though Gravik turned the knife back at him, killing him. He then saw Beto fleeing and chased him down. He captured him outside, where Gravik held a knife to his throat and slew him. He then issued a warning to the onlooking Skrulls and told them that they would wind up dead if they challenged his authority.
Shortly after the attack on him, he called Fury and told him to deliver him the Harvest, saying that he would cease his attack if he obtained it. Confused, Fury asked him what attack he was referring to, and Gravik replied by saying the United States' attack on New Skrullos.
After obtaining the Harvest, Fury went to New Skrullos, though he was weakened due to the radiation in the air. After a coughing fit, Fury attempted to consume an iodide pill, though he struggled, and the bottle and pills fell to the floor, where Gravik crushed them with his shoe. He then mocked Fury, and offered him a drink for his last stand, as Gravik called it. After a brief conversation, Gravik mentioned that the human he was pretending to be was the first human that he killed, under orders from Fury, and criticized him for having him kill. He then blamed Fury for his actions and said he would kill Fury and the human race. After a bitter conversation, Fury gave him the Harvest as a way to make up for his broken promises and told him to leave Earth and invade a different planet. After verifying that he had the real Harvest, Gravik turned on the Skrull Power Replicator with Fury inside, and he was granted the powers of every being who shed blood at the Battle of Earth.
After Gravik admired his new appearance, he punched Fury to the ground. He then tried to punch him again, though Fury caught his fist, and then punched him through the wall. Fury then walked through the hole, though it was then revealed that G'iah, who had not died of her gunshot wound due to also being a Super-Skrull, had been disguised as Fury the entire time.
G'iah charged at Gravik, and in response, he threw a nearby car at her. She was able to dodge it, and then Gravik began to attack her. The two began to fight even more, using their newfound ice and concrete abilities. G'iah then used Captain Marvel's ability to fly, and the two began fighting again in the sky, and they soon fell back down to Earth. After punching and choking Gravik, he began to compare her to Talos, though she then blasted a hole through his chest, killing him.
