Background[]
A demo reel of music for the show was released in 2011, by Dan Cantrell, who also composed work on The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, with singers chanting the title of the show. This was later disposed in favor of Brad Breeck's work.
Plot[]
The song showcases Dipper and Mabel Pines arriving in Gravity Falls, Oregon, where they are welcomed by their shrewd great-uncle, Stan Pines, and embark on various adventures unfolding the mysteries of the town. They are additionally accompanied by Stan's handyman, Soos Ramirez, and cashier, Wendy Corduroy.
Trivia[]
- Due to its strong similarities with the theme song for Gravity Falls, "Made Me Realize", a song from Awkward, is commonly referred to as the full version of the theme song.
- Brad Breeck himself said that "Made Me Realize" has nothing to do with "Gravity Falls".
- After Ford's introduction, he replaces the pterodactyl in the assortment of photos near the theme's title card.
