"Greens Underground" is the second segment of the ninety-sixth episode of Big City Greens.
Synopsis[]
The Greens move to the suburbs and live under new identities to hide from Chip.
Plot[]
Continuing from the previous episode, the Greens are horrified to learn from Remy that Chip Whistler is back and are unsure of what to do. Worried that he will no doubt do something terrible to them, they head straight to the police station and inform Officer Keys who, in his typically enthusiastic state, makes it his mission to find Chip Whistler and bring him to justice. In the meantime, the Greens decide to go into witness protection as a suburban family as the Bloats. Cricket becomes Eddie, Bill becomes Darryl, Tilly becomes Helen, and Gramma Alice becomes Aunt Roxy (Darryl's "younger" sister). The Greens move to the suburbs and attempt to make do with their new living situation.
Just as things seem fine, the Greens learn that their neighbors are Gloria's parents, the Satos, who ignorantly do not realize that the Greens are trying to hide. Desperate and afraid, the Greens pull them aside and inform them that they aren't allowed to tell anyone who and where they are. Feeling that their identities may have been compromised, the Satos offer that they stay with them, again completely oblivious to the Greens' predicament and simply enjoying their weird behavior. The Greens make up the Satos' residence so that it is fortified, also learning a little bit about Gloria's childhood.
Cricket calls Keys to check on the progress of the search, only to learn that it has been halted because Mayor Hansock lost his stuffed animal. They mention that it may take up to a year to find Chip. The Greens are devastated by this news and fear they may never return to their old lives. However, they quickly realize that this is exactly what Chip wants, and by hiding, they are letting him win. Cricket gathers the family and announces that they will continue to live life to the fullest, regardless of who is out to get them. They shed their disguises and return to their old lives. The Satos once again express how much they appreciate their uniqueness.
