Gregory Joseph Sierra was an American actor. He had appeared in The Thief Who Came to Dinner, Papillon, The Night the Bridge Fell Down, Mission: Impossible, Sanford and Son, McCloud, Columbo, Barney Miller, Simon & Simon, MacGyver, Cagney & Lacey, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The X-Files, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
For Disney, he played Commandante Paco Pico in Zorro and Son, Marruja in The Castaway Cowboy, Terence Wheeler in Honey, I Blew Up the Kid, Captain Nunez in A Low Down Dirty Shame, and Villanazul in The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit. For Touchstone Pictures, he played Bonifacio in Mafia! For 20th Century Fox, he played Verger in Beneath the Planet of the Apes, Carlos in The Towering Inferno, and Iraqi Patrol Boat Captain in Hot Shots! Part Deux.
He died on January 4, 2021, after a long battle with stomach and liver cancer, 21 days before his 84th birthday.
