"Groot's Snow Day" is the ninth episode of the Disney+ streaming television shorts series I Am Groot and was released on September 6, 2023. It was written and directed by Kirsten Lepore.
Synopsis[]
As an intergalactic ice cream truck approaches, Groot—desperate to get a treat— frantically scours the ship for coins.
Plot[]
Groot is playing with his toys when he spots an ice cream truck floating outside the ship. He rushes to get a coin from his piggy bank, but drops it down a grate and fails to get it out. He tries to find spare change in the couch, but only finds old potato chips. He finds a coin in a crane machine, but it turns out to be candy, forcing Groot to knock the whole machine down and finding more coins. Groot fails to catch the ice cream truck and absconds with a mini ship that he flies straight through the ice cream truck. Groot is happily seen licking his ice cream as Nova Corp. ships surround him.
