"Groot Noses Around" is the seventh episode of the Disney+ streaming television shorts series I Am Groot and was released on September 6, 2023. It was written and directed by Kirsten Lepore.
Synopsis[]
When Groot discovers a bionic nose-shaped device that grants him a sense of smell, he quickly learns not to stick his new nose where it doesn’t belong. There is a scene with fragrant delights displayed across a banquet table.
Plot[]
Groot is playing video games in his pigsty of a room when he realizes that the batteries in his controller are out. He heads out to get a new pair of batteries and inadvertently winds up getting a bionic nose. Realizing that he can smell things now, he begins to go around the ship to try out this new sense, smelling both good and bad things. He eventually finds the batteries he was looking for, but upon returning to his room realizes that his room smells terrible due to him not cleaning the place up. He finds a feather duster and uses it to detach his nose. Groot happily returns to playing video games.

- The prosthetic leg belonging to the prisoner from Guardians of the Galaxy can be seen in the box where Groot gets his nose, implying that it was another item that Rocket Raccoon had stolen out of amusement.
- The video game that Groot is playing is a clear nod to Street Fighter with one of the playable characters being a Skrull.
