"Groot Takes a Bath" is the fourth episode of the Disney+ animated short I Am Groot. It was released on August 10, 2022, along with the rest of the season. It was written and directed by Kirsten Lepore.
Everybody needs some alone time to relax and wash up, but things go quite differently when you’re a Flora Colossi toddler. When Baby Groot’s bath concoction results in epic leaf growth, he takes his haircut into his own hands and gets inventive with styling.
Plot[]
Groot is on a luscious planet and finds a small mud pit. Using the various flora and fauna around him, Groot makes a tantalizing hot tub for himself and relaxes. Upon awakening, Groot discovers that his entire body is covered in leaves. After seeing his reflection, he is impressed with the potency and forms the leaves into clothes for himself. The leaves quickly die and Groot goes back to the bath to make more leaves grow and to try different outfits. Eventually, all the water dries up and a small furry creature who had been watching Groot, laughs at him. Groot is next seen wearing a scarf made from the creature's tail and returns to the ship while the now naked creature shivers.
