Synopsis[]
Joe Slovak, a young carefree, hotshot, medical student enrolls in gross anatomy, the toughest course in med school. While his nonconformist approach disrupts the class, he and his colleagues must work together to make the grade.

Trivia[]
- Matthew Modine and Daphne Zuniga previously starred together in Vision Quest. Modine also previously starred with Todd Field in Full Metal Jacket, and Eyes Wide Shut. Interestingly, this film remains their only Disney-related project that all three have worked on.
- The hospital used to film in the movie was once a real hospital that had long been shut down and was now used in numerous film and television projects. When it was active, it was the actual hospital that director Thom Eberhardt was born in.
- The film was originally well over two hours long.
