Gum Luck is the second book in The Gumazing Gum Girl! series. It was released on June 13, 2017.

Synopsis[]

Gabby Gomez's love of bubble gum has resulted in her becoming Gum Girl! With her new powers Gabby can save the day, but keeping her gummy alter-ego a secret is another matter altogether. Will she tell her parents who she is at the expense of admitting she disobeyed her mother's strict orders? Or will a new adversary make coming clean impossible? Stay tuned!

  • This Gum Girl book was originally going to be published in 2014, but it was delayed to 2017, due to Rhode Montijo being busy working on Sanzigen Inc.'s 2014 Halloween Kid animated special and Amazon Prime's 2015 animated pilot, Knickerbock Teetertop.
  • The book title is a pun on "good luck".
    • One of the chapter titles, "Rhi-No-You-Don't" was a pun on "No, you don't".
  • The cover was originally going to have a bank, but was removed for no reason.

  • Sometimes, the copy of Rhode Montijo's name can be seen behind the ground on the front cover.
  • When Gum Girl jumps into the tire, her pupils and mouth were discolored in pink, and her reflections were missing.
