Gummi Bears (comic strip)

The Gummi Bears was a Sunday comic strip that was based on the Saturday morning cartoon series Adventures of the Gummi Bears. It was distributed by King Features Syndicate.

From the samples shown here (top, middle), it is clear that the majority of the writing that was heavily focused for the TV show were not used on the comics page. The human characters do not even appear, and the bottom right strip is the only time any of the antagonistic ogres are even mentioned.

While the rare strip would be divided into panels, the general output would be a wide-screen single panel strip.

Sunday strips were generally no different from the daily strips, but were always accompanied by an easy puzzle and a bit of trivia.
