The Gummi Flying Machine is a plane, featured in the television show Adventures of the Gummi Bears in the episode "A Gummi in a Gilded Cage".

History

The Flying Machine was first built and used by the ancient Gummi Bears.

Zummi finds the machine in the old tunnels of Gummi Glen. Gruffi and Zummi restore it until it is able to fly again. Cubbi figures out that the machine uses Gummiberry Juice as fuel.

When Sunni is kidnapped by a flock of bird-like creatures known as Carpies, whose king wants to enslave her as a song bird, the Gummies use the flying machine to get to the top of Carpie Mountain and rescue her, all while Zummi must deal with his acrophobia, his fear of heights, and Gruffi's insistence that "Gummies were not meant to fly".

The Carpies damage the Flying Machine, causing it to crash atop Carpie Mountain and get destroyed in the process. So, after Sunni's rescue, the Gummies use the wings like a glider, to return home.
