The relationships that Hades has in the movie Hercules.
Family[]
Zeus[]

Zeus gloats Hades
- “Hey. Love to, babe. But unlike you gods lounging about up here, I regrettably have a full-time gig that you, by the way, so charitably bestowed on me, Zeus. So, can't. Love to, but can't.”
- ―Hades to Zeus[src]
Zeus is the older brother of Hades, since Zeus imprisoned the titans in Tartarus, Hades attended Hercules' birth ceremony as it was likely that their sibling relationship is a bit worse, but Hades secretly hated him and that's why he planned to overthrow him.
Hades later managed to free the Titans from Tartarus and planned his attack on Olympus where he caused chaos and destruction throughout the town, leading to Hades' hatred of his brother to the fullest of his moments that he would soon rule Olympus but Hercules soon defeated the titans and saved his father leaving Hades with his patience at an end.
Hercules[]
- “I'm about to rearrange the cosmos and the one schlemiel who can louse it up is waltzing around in the woods!”
- ―Hades on Hercules[src]

Hades facing Hercules
Hercules is Hades' nephew and his arch-nemesis. Upon the celebration of Hercules's birth, Hades learns from the Fates that he could succeed at overthrowing Zeus by releasing the Titans in eighteen years, but should Hercules fight, he will fail. Hades sends his minions, Pain and Panic, to kidnap baby Hercules and give him a potion that would render him mortal if he drank ever last drop, and kill him. Unbeknownst to Hades, Pain and Panic failed to kill Hercules, ends up losing the last drop, thus retaining his godlike strength. They tell Hades that Hercules is dead, hoping that he will not find out.
Years later, Hades finds out from Megara that Hercules is still alive upon her failure to convince the centaur Nessus to join Hades' uprising, and begins trying to destroy Herc once again. Determined to humiliate the young hero, Hades used Meg to trick Hercules by having her lure him into unleashing the Hydra, a frightening multi-headed monster which has been set up as a fixed contest to kill the hero at the start of his career. Hades watches every second of the battle excitedly as the man destined to defeat him struggles under the monster's attacks, only for Hercules to slay it in a rockslide that seems to have killed both, until the hero emerges from the monster's claw. He then sends a various succession of creatures to defeat Hercules, who defeated every other monster that Hades sent. Frustrated that none of the monsters have worked, Hades hits upon a new plan to send a reluctant Meg to stop him, hoping that Herc will become too distracted by his attraction for Meg for the latter to learn his weaknesses. When he learns that Hercules has fallen in love with Megara, Hades uses this to his advantage and makes a deal with Hercules: he must give up his strength for the next twenty-four hours. Hercules agrees, as long as Meg will be safe from any harm. Hades then reveals that Meg was working for him the whole time, crushing Hercules' will to fight. After releasing the Titans, Hades sends the Cyclops to kill Hercules to keep him from getting in the way of defeating Zeus, but Hercules defeats the Titans using his wits. Hercules defeats Hades after saving Meg's soul from the Underworld.
In Hercules: The Animated Series, Hades passes time by trying other plans to dispose of the hero-in-training Hercules or take over Olympus, such as tricking the other gods into swimming in the waters of Lethe to forget their pasts, arranging for the sun to be stolen, or sending Cerberus after a temporarily mortal Zeus. One episode, "Hercules and the Arabian Night", Hades and Jafar team up to defeat their foes, only for Hercules and Aladdin to team up to defeat the villains.
Allies[]
Jafar[]

Hades talking to Jafar
- “That's just fine, you know? I mean, I knew that Jafar guy was a jerk! I mean, what could be more aggravating than this?”
- ―Hades after Jafar's defeat[src]
In the episode "Hercules and the Arabian Night" Hades revives Jafar from the Stygian River with the purpose of defeating Hercules, he and Jafar were better company than Pain and Panic, since he simply summoned him when he was defeated by Aladdin and his friends. However, the plan was foiled by the two heroes to the anger of Hades who still swears revenge against Hercules.
Although this is implied in the series, he sometimes interacts with him in some episodes from House of Mouse, meaning they used to have a villain-on-villain relationship.
Minions[]
Pain and Panic[]

Hades scolding Pain and Panic
- “We are worms! Worthless worms!”
- ―Pain and Panic to Hades[src]
Hades always has his two demons as his minions, but most of the time he sees them doing other things, he always gets mad at them as he seems to totally abuse them, although it is usually comical, his angry state prevents him from gaining the upper hand respect from his demons since they were both mischievous and foolish.
That time he asked them how to kill a God, Panic replied that it was impossible to do it because they are immortal, to which he gave them a potion that would make Hercules mortal, although they did, Hercules did not take the last drop and they decided to hide him the truth to Hades making him believe that Hercules is already dead.
However, the scariest thing is when Hades painfully asks Pain what he was wearing, and he told him that they were Hercules's sandals (as he claims that they look dashy), Hades rebukes him by remarking him he has 24 hours left to finish off Hercules and insinuating him for wearing Hercules's merchandise, finally he explodes furiously after discovering Panic drinking soda (Hercules brand) causing him to yell in rage.
Another noteworthy thing is that when Hercules becomes a god and knocks Hades into the river Styx, Pain and Panic see him smiling evilly and they start talking about their destiny to which ends with the two alone without Hades at their disposal.
Titans[]
- “Brothers! Titans! Look at you in your squalid prison! Who put you down there?"
"Zeus!"
"And now that I set you free... what is the first thing you are going to do?"
"Destroy him!"
"Good answer.” - ―Hades and the Titans[src]
Hades' desire to overthrow Zeus and become the new leader of Olympus was to free the Titans from Tartarus, so he decided to free them from their prison in order to finish his plan to conquer Olympus, unfortunately the plan was frustrated by Hercules.
Enemies[]
Megara[]

- “Meg, Meg, Meg, my sweet deluded little minion. Aren't we forgetting one teensy-weensy, but ever so crucial little, tiny detail? I own you!”
- ―Hades to Megara[src]
Hades met Megara in the forest after Hercules defeated Nessus the centaur, however Megara told him all about Hercules which led Hades to recruit her as his right hand to finish off Hercules.
Later, after discovering that Megara has fallen in love with Hercules, Hades kept her as a carnad for betraying her and stopping her from falling in love with Hercules, and she did not become his assistant again since he had the objective of freeing the titans to fulfill his plan.
