"Hail to the Princess Aurora" is a song from the Disney's 1959 animated film Sleeping Beauty. It was written by composer George Bruns and lyricist Tom Adair, and based on a march tune from the prologue of Pyotr Tchaikovsky's ballet of the same name.
This is the first song to be heard in the movie, sung by the subjects of King Stefan's kingdom as they celebrate the birth and christening of Princess Aurora.
Lyrics[]
Joyfully now
To our princess we come
Bringing gifts and all good wishes, too
We pledge our loyalty anew
Hail to the Princess Aurora
All of her subjects adore her
Hail to the King, hail to the Queen
Hail to the Princess Aurora
Health to the Princess
Wealth to the Princess
Long live the Princess Aurora
Hail, Aurora
Hail, Aurora
Health to the Princess
Wealth to the Princess
Long live the Princess Aurora
Hail to the King, hail to the Queen
Hail to the Princess Aurora
