Hakalo is a tropical island that appears in the Disney Junior animated series Sofia the First. It is a place of hidden paradise, surrounded by fog banks that hide it from the outside world. The island can only be found by the usage of the Emerald Key.

Hakalo is surrounded by beautiful blue seas and sandy yellow beaches. Close to the coast stands the Hakalo village, ruled by King Kamea and Queen Halia. Beyond the village lies deep jungles roaming with wild animals, deep canyons, and high mountains that reach the clouds. The highest peak on the island is a volcano known as Mt. Hakalo.
