"Hakuna Ma Kevin" is the first segment of the thirty-first episode, as well as the season two premiere, of the Disney Channel animated series, Hamster & Gretel.
Synopsis[]
Gretel gets stressed out when Kevin returns from a relaxation camp with a laid-back attitude.
Plot[]
Gretel, Bailey, and Fred eagerly await Kevin's return from a relaxation camp he has been attending following the events of the previous episode. However, they find that Kevin has adopted a free-spirited, carefree personality, which especially concerns Hamster and Gretel. While Kevin participates in a yoga class, Hamster and Gretel spot a suspicious man boarding a couples' matchmaking cruise and decide to investigate. Upon confronting him in the captain's quarters, the man reveals himself to be a villain named Clem Clam, who after being mutated into a man with a clam head due to an incident involving clam chowder and toxic waste, reveals his plan to speed the boat into international waters, where he will then carry out his plan to exact revenge. Hamster and Gretel engage in a battle with him, but they are quickly overpowered.
When Veronica Hill reports on the situation, Kevin initially sees no reason to worry, but eventually reverts to his original personality after he learns that Hamster is trapped in Clem Clam's mouth and Gretel is unable to use her Super Punches. After making his way onto the ship, Kevin has Gretel slow the boat down before disabling Clem Clam's device and leading him into the steam room, where he turns up the heat; this frees Hamster and leads to Clem Clam's defeat. Gretel then tells Kevin that he does not have to worry on his own and that they should look out for each other, to which Kevin agrees.
