"Happy Thanksgiving Helpers!" is the second segment of the fifty-eighth episode of Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures.[1]
Plot[]
Minnie, Daisy and Cuckoo Loca host Thanksgiving dinner, and Daisy is excited about their feast, specially since her Grandmother Lilly is coming. But through this, while everyone's food gets damaged or lost and replaced, Daisy learns that the true meaning of Thanksgiving isn't the feast, but the ones you love and share it with.[2]
Synopsis[]
The episode begins in the Happy Helpers Office, with the Happy Helpers preparing their office to have a Thanksgiving feast with their friends. Daisy is excited that she gets to make cranberry sauce with Grandquacker Lilly as per tradition. However, Daisy becomes nervous when Grandquacker Lilly calls and tells her that she will make the sauce by herself this year. The Happy Helpers go out to shop for the ingredients.
The Happy Helpers are at the supermarket looking for cranberries when Minnie receives a call from Hilda, telling them that she made a mistake making candied yams and they became so candied they were as hard as rock making them inedible,so she is going to make a butter spinach souffle instead. Daisy is worried that they'll be breaking tradition, but becomes more worried when she discovers the supermarket is fresh out of cranberries. A nearby employee tells them that there is a fruit stand down the street that might have some for them. At the stand Daisy finds lots of cranberries,Suddenly Mickey calls and asks how many pumpkins pies he should bring,Minnie tells him two. Unfortunately Goofy ends dropping all the pumpkins and they break leaving them with no pumpkins for the pie,So Mickey decides to bring triple fudge brownie smoothies. Daisy buys the cranberries but as she puts her coin in the box to pay she bumps into the stand causing the berries to spill and get run over by a car and as that happened the last of the cranberries are bought. Daisy then finds a cranberry bog at edge of town.After a small fight with a raccoon Daisy gets cranberries however when in the car Donald calls and tells them he accidentally burnt the rolls,so he’s bringing crackers instead.The van then gets stuck in the bog and while pulling it out the raccoon sneaks on the back of the van. On their way at they get one more call from Pete revealing he couldn’t find the recipie for the green bean casserole and he brings a picture of a casserole,leaving them with one less food entirely. At home Daisy starts making the sauce and Minnie finds out Figaro ate the whole turkey,so she replaces them with turkey hot dogs,everyone arrives and the raccoon tries to steal the cranberry sauce and when Daisy shoos it away. The raccoon accidentally jumps in the mustard bottle squirting mustard all over the sauce ruining the last traditional food left! Daisy is devastated but her grandma comforts her and tell her that thanksgiving isn’t about the food but about the ones she shares it with,Daisy realizes she’s right and they all sit down to enjoy their meal even if it’s not their usual traditional foods.
Goofs[]
- Daisy was Panicking about GramQuacker Lilly not cooking anymore, the wall had a few specs for a second.
- After the car ran over the Cranberries and splash all over daisy, some of it disappears after Daisy peaked at the mess.
- When Daisy missed the last basket, Cuckoo Loca was pitch black for a brief second.
- When Daisy begged the Racoon, Her super please face had gain teeth.
- After the Cranberry Bog Incident, the weather had change to thunderstorm and the next scene turn back to sunny.
- The shopping bag disappears when the Racoon destroyed Daisy's Cranberry Sauce.
- During the Thanksgiving Tradition song, Daisy had a New batch of Cranberry Sauce for an Unknown reason and the Pumpkin Pie was their during the group photo.
