Harry Dean Stanton was an American actor, musician, and singer.
In a career that spanned more than six decades, Stanton made notable appearances in films, such Cool Hand Luke, Kelly's Heroes, Dillinger, The Godfather Part II, Alien, Escape from New York, Christine, Repo Man, Paris, Texas, Pretty in Pink, The Last Temptation of Christ, Wild at Heart, The Green Mile, Alpha Dog, Inland Empire, and Lucky.
For Disney, he played a security guard in The Avengers, Gideon in One Magic Christmas, Tony "Shorty" Russo in She's So Lovely, Grim in The Mighty, a land watcher in A Civil Action, and Lyle Straight in The Straight Story.
