"Hauntley Home Movies" is the first segment of the sixty-ninth episode of Vampirina. It is the first segment of the nineteenth episode of the third season. It premiered on January 25, 2021.
Synopsis[]
Demi and Gregoria help Vee with her school project, "What Was I Like As A Baby."
Plot[]
Oxana and Boris will be visiting Transylvania for the weekend, and Demi and Gregoria are tasked to make sure Vampirina finishes her homework and brushes her fangs, like they've done since she was a baby. Vampirina and Poppy are working on a project for school called "What I Was Like As a Baby". Poppy shows pictures of when she was little, and Vampirina does the same. She mentions that Oxana and Boris called her the sweetest baby around. Demi and Gregoria wonder if the poster shows off what Vampirina was like as a baby. Vampirina shows more picture of when she was little, and Poppy agrees with it. Vampirina wants to see more of what she was like as a baby, and Demi and Gregoria decide on home movies.
Oxana and Boris filmed all of the Hauntleys' most spooktacular moments. Demi has some suggestions before settling on one of the summers the Hauntleys spent in Pennsylvania with Uncle Dieter. The movie begins, and Vampirina is very cute. Uncle Dieter cheers her up with music. As he gets ready for the concert, the movie breaks, and Demi and Gregoria get an idea about using the remote to go into the movie and watch past the point where it broke.
Vampirina, Poppy, Demi, and Gregoria are soon inside, and young Demi and Gregoria promise to look over young Vampirina. She runs all over the place while making messes. For the lunch, young Vampirina refuses to eat and for naptime, she runs away and breaks Gregoria's left horn and pulls Demi's necktie. When Gregoria offers toys, Vampirina runs to form a tornado catching everything in its place. The current Vampirina then pauses the movie, as she can't believe what a speedy baby she was. Vampirina knows Demi was right about her baby pictures in her poster not being the real her at all. She is scared that the kids at school may not like it, but Gregoria tells her to keep watching, followed by Demi and Poppy, and Vampirina accepts.
Young Demi and Gregoria then hug young Vampirina after the tornado ends. Vampirina then eats her lunch and got Demi to switch to bowties so she would stop grabbing his tie. Demi has always been happy about the switch, and later, Gregoria's left horn falls off before she gives Vampirina a mummy, which would be her favorite toy. Gregoria mentions that her crack has always brought her ghoul luck, and all of the movie's moments showed who Vampirina truly is. Demi, Gregoria, and Poppy are confident the kids will love that side of Vampirina. Demi then brings lots of photos of the real baby Vampirina, and Poppy decides to include Mr. Hopsalot, although he is old and warn, in her project. At school, Vampirina's presentation is a success.
