Helena Bonham Carter, CBE is an English actress who is known for her dark roles and is well known for playing the role of Bellatrix Lestrange in the Harry Potter films as well as Amanda Weinrib in Mighty Aphrodite. She is also known for her frequently collaborations with her partner, Tim Burton, and on-screen partner, Johnny Depp. She also voiced Lady Tottington in DreamWorks/Aardman's Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
For Disney, she and Burton collaborated together in Burton's 2010 version of Alice in Wonderland, in which Bonham Carter played the Red Queen and reprised her role in the 2016 sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass (produced by Burton). She also played Red Harrington in Disney's 2013 action-western film The Lone Ranger and the Fairy Godmother in Sir Kenneth Branagh's 2015 live-action adaptation of romantic fantasy film Cinderella.
