Henri and Simone Poupon are one-time characters from the sitcom Dinosaurs. They are a pair of Archaeopteryx and the parents of Francois Poupon. They appeared in the episode "Getting to Know You".

Role in the episode

When Charlene sings up for an exchange program, she goes to live in the Poupons' tree, while their son Francois goes to live with the Sinclairs. Henri and Simone's idea of getting a laugh is by making fun of Charlene and her culture, and when Charlene accidentally snaps off a branch, the couple throw an onslaught of insults and squawks.

The Poupons call the Sinclair house and discuss what has happened. When they find out their son has been eaten by Baby, they request Earl give them his TV to fill the sudden void in their lives.
